A little background about Mellow Cosmetics: a woman by the name of Ima started it in 2014 when she was on maternity leave. Because she wanted to continue to stay with her son and not miss any big moments with him, she decided to be an entrepreneur instead of going back to work. The company is based in Australia, and tries to be as ethical as possible by being vegan, cruelty free, and paraben free.
These are the swatches. All the shades are very pigmented. I swiped the eyeshadow (the top, copper shade) twice, and the color does build. The lipsticks below I just swiped once, so you can see they are really pigmented and easy to apply.
The creamy matte lipstick shades are Nude and Chocolate. Both are very pigmented. The Nude shade is a pretty and natural pink. The chocolate is a dark brown color. I don't wear it super often since it is a bit bold for me, but I am determined to try to wear it soon so keep an eye out on my Instagram @love_batsy for it! They have 8 other shades of matte lipsticks and I'm eyeing a few of them like New York and Madness 😍
The baked eyeshadow I have is in the shade Coco. It's a really classic shade that's great for everyday use. I'm ordering another one and I'll share that once I get it. It's super smooth and blends really well. There are 12 shades total and I put two on my wishlist, Jade and Lilac.
